Our fusion bonded epoxy coating steel bar (REBAR) offers the following excellent features.

Manufacturing Process
This type of coating is applied by spraying epoxy powder on the preheated bars in order to quickly cure the epoxy.


A) The external surface is shot-blasted (SIS 05.59.00 Sa 2 1/2) to remove millscale and rust, obtaining metal surface.
B) The bar is heated in a induction heater at a controlled temperature.
C) The bar is then coated with epoxy powder by electrostatic guns.
D) When epoxy powder is coated, the bar is preheated to 240℃, in order to quickly cure the epoxy.
E) After polymerization, cooling is done by water.


Applications
Corrosion-resistant bar/construction for the water hazard and moisture place of Bridge, Tunnel, Building, Highway, etc.
