FBE
Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coatings

Features
Our fusion bonded epoxy coating pipe (FBE) offers the collowing excellent features.
A) Wide range of service temperature : -45℃ to 100℃
B) Excellent resistance to cathodic disbonding and excellent waterproofing.
C) Excellent impact resistance, bendability and adhesion.
D) Smooth and pleasing appearance.

Manufacturing Process
This type of coating is applied by spraying epoxy power on the preheated pipes in order to quickly cure the epoxy.
A) The external surface is shot-blasted (SIS 05.59.00 SA 1/2) by removing millscale and rust, abtaining metal surface.
B) The pipe is heated in a gas or induction oven at a controlled temperature.
C) The pipe is then coated with epoxy power by electrostatic guns.
D) When epoxy power is coated, the pipe is preheated to 235℃, in order to quickly cure the epoxy.
E) After polymerization, cooling is done by water.

Applications
Corrosion-resistant underground pipelines for the transport of Gas, Oil, Water, etc.
Corrosion-resistant shore and on thore pipepiles for the construction basic.
