Micropile Slide Stabilization
The Micropile Slide Stabilization System (MS³) is used for slope stabilization in all types of soils and rock. A retaining wall is constructed by connecting an array of drilled and grouted micropiles, sometimes in combination with ground anchors, into a reinforced concrete beam constructed near the ground surface. Acting in tension and compression, the micropiles effectively create an integral, stabilized ground reinforcement system capable of resisting driving forces in the slope that could otherwise cause instability or failure.

MS³ Construction Process
Installation of the MS³ system for slope stabilization begins with construction of a concrete beam near the ground surface. Angled micropiles, in a fan array typically composed of three structural elements, are then drilled in place through the beam and founded in a competent stratum.
